Day 1 Travel from Kampala to Mount Elgon area via Jinja and Mbale towns. After Mbale, you will proceed to Sipi falls community on Kapchorwa road. On arrival relax at the camp. Dinner and overnight

Day 2 Today, you will be exploring the community including natural and cultural wonders. Options include coffee tours, water falls tours or rock climbing and rock abseiling. After the community activities relax at the camp as you gaze the breath taking views from the plains and mountains accompanied by the cold breeze baths.

Day 3 After an early breakfast, you have an option of trekking Mount Elgon for the nature walk up to the first camp or longer trek. On return, take your dinner and overnight

Day 4 After an early breakfast, you will proceed back to Kampala or the next destination of your trip

Rock climbing and abseiling: Take one or all of the fourteen bolted rock climbing and one abseiling routes besides the Mighty 100m. height, Sipi falls. On the abseiling route besides the falls ones pleasure will be exploded to the great view of the falls. The climbing routes range from easy, intermediate to difficult. After briefing and guidance, your ropes are anchored and harnesses fastened by experienced smiling guides who will later wish you enjoyment and watch over you as they take control of the ropes.  After the experience, you will be awarded a certificate of recognition. Rock climbing can be done for 1-3 days depending on your interest

Sipi falls walk experience: This walk leads you to one or all the three water Falls of Sipi River. One may take an extended walk to see the fourth fall called “Chebonet” the undiscovered treasure. Starting from the top of the first fall, you will be passing though the village farms and homesteads to the middle fall and then walk up to the top most falls. While trailing through the foot path in the gorges you also take chance of enjoying the breath taking scenery. Finally, at the topmost water fall, you take the sweeping view of the landscape at the forest boundary. This is a good place for birding where you may spot some of the birds endemic to this area. It takes 3½- 4 hours to cover all the three falls, but you can choose to take the short or medium walks to see just one or two of the falls.

Sipi Coffee tour: It is a practical workshop that will enable you to make a cup of coffee straight from the farm. On the tour, you will learn the stages coffee goes through from planting until it makes it to the cup. It takes 2-3 hours compressed with the entire three years process of coffee production. The stages include; nursery and planting the seedlings, tending the plants and harvesting, pulping and drying process, roasting and latter grinding the coffee to make a cup with the best aroma. At the end treat yourself to a cup of the best and organic coffee in Uganda in the African village setting.

Sipi Cave tour: Witness the roots of indigenous Sabiny culture by visiting these ancient caves.  During the tour, you will be listening to their importance and how the caves used to act as ancestral home for the ancient Sabiny. There are 2 caves in the area which can be visited “Mise cave” being one of them and located along the main road, a walking distance before Sipi river lodge. In this lodge, you will also find geological features and, articulates of history of the Sabiny and their lifestyle.

Sabiny traditional dances and cultural: It is an assortment of cultural dances and beats Performed in the village by the Sabiny tribe’s men and women. It includes the traditional Sabinyi folklore, Dance, stories, Local beer or traditional food preparation and tasting. It is recommended to be done in the evening, while relaxing from the days hustles, as it traditionally used to be practiced in the ancient times.
