Day 1 Travel from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park through Masaka – Mbarara road. After Mbarara, you will proceed to Kichwamba, rift valley escarpments overlooking Queen Elizabeth national park. On arrival relax at the camp. Dinner and overnight at one of the community accommodations

Day 2. After an early breakfast, head to the park for a morning game drive, boat cruise on the kazinga channel, possible evening game drive or optional community exploration activities later in the day. Other options include chimpanzee experience at Kyambura gorge then you will return for dinner and overnight at Dinner and overnight at one of the community accommodations

Day 3 Today, you will be exploring the community attractions show casing the great scenery above the crater lakes, the escarpment and Queen Elizabeth national park savannah. Options include village walks, birding tours, or community forest/ swamp walks, bee keeping tour, cultural and homestay experiences. After the community activities, relax as you take the lake views from the camp. Accommodation at Dinner and overnight at one of the community accommodations

Day 4 After an early morning breakfast, you will proceed back to Kampala or the next destination of your trip

The cave tour: A unique opportunity to have a leg stretch with a scenic walk to the cave for coffee and crater lakes or for local fishing boat rides. During the visit, you will enjoy organic meals with fish from the crater lakes and yummy locally grown vegetables. Relax on a mesmerizing swing in the gardens, visit the transparent crater and ruins of a cult site are some of the other attractions found here.

Mukorobozi Village walk: Have a spectacular village walk with lots of community activities, herbal garden and other flora. You will make a visit to a local school and share conservation ideas with the children conservation club and also have a chat with women as they make traditional handicrafts.

Kecoti bee keeping and escarpment tour: Participate in an authentic bee keeping experience in the rural Uganda. The local farmer takes you around the apiary and honey store as you learn the medicinal value of honey and other bi-products. The tour demonstrates how communities use beekeeping to meet their daily basic needs, support conservation and benefit from tourism. You have an opportunity of taking a picture with hives in the background or participate in honey processing. At the end, have the pleasure to buy packed honey from the shop.

Rumuri coffee tour: Rumuri coffee tour starts with coffee seed sawing in the nursery bed, garden management, harvesting, drying to roasting. At the end you will have an opportunity of tasting the most flavored coffee ever, prepared from the garden to the cup, with your own hands. Rumuri also offers homestay services to those who are interested.

Omumasaka guided walk: In a village situated just next to park at the escarpment, the guide takes you through a wetland walk telling you of wetland values to the community. You will discover other area attractions and features; including a herbalist, local marriage storytelling, finally to the famous sink-hole and listen to the story of the survivor family.
