Day 1 Travel from Kampala to Kasese and proceed to The Elephant Home campsite for an overnight at the edge of Queen Elizabeth national park. On arrival relax at the camp. Before dinner you will be welcomed to the traditional dance performance by the local community members. Dinner and overnight at the community campsite

Day 2 After an early breakfast, head to the park for a morning game drive, boat cruise on the kazinga channel, possible evening game drive or more community exploration activities. Other options include chimpanzee experience at Kyambura or visiting the creator lakes at Kichwamba escarpment then you will return for dinner and overnight

Day 3 Today, you will spend the day reluctantly exploring the community including natural and cultural wonders. Options include the mountain lake tour to the hills overlooking the park, basket weaving workshop, Lake Katwe traditional salt mining experience, cotton growing and equator village tour.

Day 4 After an early morning breakfast, you will proceed back to Kampala or the next destination of your trip

Kikorongo equator traditional dance performance: A show with dancers in vigorous moves twisting their shoulders and waists. It is the original traditional Kikonzo dance performed by the indigenous community members of this tribe living on the Rwenzori Mountains. Wearing colorful costumes and playing the different traditional musical instruments. You will see the different culture scenes demonstrated by different dance styles while the translator tells you the story and meaning behind each dance style. Visitors are encouraged to join the dance at will. You can also participate in the drumming and handcraft making workshops at an additional small fee.

Kikorongo village walk: An opportunity to understand true wildlife coexistence with community.  Visit the village residential area and farmland. Visit a banana plantation and cotton fields as you discover the local farming and protective measures that save peoples crops from the Elephants. At the village center, learn the local petty trade and taste the equatorial mouthwatering pineapples (in season).

Mountain-lake village trek: A local guide takes you to the hills, seeking the mysterious lost lake. You will meet with the local residents in their homes and farms to share the local way of life. In this scenic mountain community you will find the lake on the hills with unbelievable scenery. After a picnic lunch, take the views of the lake at different angles as you listen to the story of how the lake originated in the banana garden. On return your soul will be flying over the wonderful views of Queen Elizabeth National park plains.

Community self guided walk: Taking a quiet moment on your own, only with nature. It is home to birds and plant species and other wildlife. The safe trails are ideal for jogging, walking or sitting as you take the wonderful views surrounded by varying lush indigenous vegetation. On a lucky day, you can find wildlife spoors including Elephants, buffalos, hippos and other small mammals.

Rubona basket natural dye experience: The lady-guides will warmly welcome you to show you the garden and the different natural dye plants, roots and vines used to decorate the colorful baskets. Then the fascinating material dye demonstration begins. You will be introduced to the tools and materials before you take a role in cutting, cooking, mixing or washing the ingredients as you listen to the chemistry behind everything, told to you by the local woman.  Later, line up the variety of colors made for a wonderful picture moment then visit the shop to buy some of the colorful baskets.

BBC candle making and bee keeping experience: Witness honey being extracted from the comps then learn how to melt the remnant bee wax to make candles. Choose your favorite shape from a display of candle molds, to makes a candle shape of your choice as a perfect souvenir of the trip. After pouring the wax in the mold, dressed up like a beekeeper, visit the apiary to see how honey is harvested from the bee hives. Return to remove your own candle from the mold. At the end shop the different bee products on sale.
