Gift of Nature Lodge is located in Kabale, Ruhija Sub County- Mburameizi village. The name Mburameizi in local Rukiga language comes from the place having no water due to the heights of the hills evident to the home of Mountain gorillas. During your visit and tours of the breath taking hill views, you will understand why it is not easy to get water in this community. The lodge has a very good and conducive atmosphere.

The lodge is located in a friendly community on the hillside with full time views of the mountains that are home to the gentle giants of the Virunga mountain ranges. The lodge is furnished with the best fittings and furnishings, making it feel like visiting the gorillas in a true paradise on earth. We have a beautiful garden, great restaurant that prepares for you local and exotic dishes enabling our chiefs to serve you with mouthwatering dishes.

Gift of nature lodge provides water to the local households through their rainwater harvesting project saving the women kilometers of collecting water down the valleys

How to get there:

Ruhija is about 380 kilometers from Kampala city and about 35 kilometers from Kabale town, it is 20 kilometers from Buhoma-Bwindi impenetrable National park`s HQ. When travelling from Kabale you will branch off Kisoro road and pass by the sign of ITFC following the road to Buhoma until you reach Mburameizi trading center.
