Safari Hotel Kingo is a cozy accommodation near Kibale National Park. It is ideal for backpackers travelling on a budget. The property offers clean dormitory beds and group rooms all equipped with beddings and mosquito nets. Guests can enjoy their meals from the onsite restaurant/dining. The Hotel has a large camping area and spacious parking facility. The staff can arrange for laundry services at an additional small fee.

During the stay, guests can enjoy chimp tracking in the nearby Kibale National Park or birding and primate watching in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The community also can organize traditional dance performances, handicraft making demonstrations and an interpretive guided village walks in Bigodi.

Location and how to get there:

It is located 38km on fort portal Kamwenge road, about 200 meters from Kibale National park boundary. It is half-way between Bigodi village and Kanyanchu (the Kibale National Park tourism center) From fort portal, branch off on the road from next to the Mpanga River Market and drive for 17km before you take the left fork for further 21km following the signpost of Kibale forest National Park. You will then drive through kibale forest. The hotel is on the right side of the road 3km past the branch off of Kanyanchu visitors Reception. The whole journey from fort portal will take about 45 minutes driving
