Rob’s Rolling Rock is situated at Sipi trading center in Kapchorwa district. Its strategic location on the foothills of Mt Elgon which also happens to possess the world’s largest intact Caldera, gives Robs Rolling rock an exclusive product that allows an opportunity to enjoy nature and adventure.

While here you will participate in rock-climbing and abseiling in the Mount Elgon foothills and on the edges of Sipi falls at a height of 100meters, the highest in Uganda. A circuit of over ten routes have been developed for you to maximize this adrenalin pumping lifetime opportunity/ experience.  The package can be customized to include other exciting activities such as a village walk in the evening and full day trek up the Mt Elgon guided by well experienced community guides

How to get there:

From Kampala, take a taxi to Kapchorwa from Nakawa Taxi Park leaving before 9:00am and disembark at Sipi trading center via Mbale. You can also take a bush from the Qualicel (Baganda) bus terminal or a taxi from Kampala or Jinja to drop you in Mbale town so that you will take the taxi to Kapchorwa from Mbale to be dropped at Sipi trading center.  Sipi falls is about 49km, from Mbale and about 4 hr. drive

  • The establishment provides local skills to the youth and provides employment to about five tour guides.
  • A portion of the income generated from the establishment is used to support local conservation and development projects. Money generated from the community village walk shared by families that manage the stopover points, while a portion is used to support other community projects.
